The management module is the core of CATbooking. Here, you can not only enter basic data such as accommodations, rates, and items, but also manage reservations, view the booking schedule, and access the management dashboard.

You will use the management module daily at the reception or in the back office. The data you enter is immediately available for online bookings, allowing guests to easily make reservations on your website. The appearance of the online booking process is fully customizable through the management module in CATbooking, where you can choose the layout and colors for the online booking interface to match your branding.

Online booking is a standard integrated feature of CATbooking. You can customize the text, colors, photos, and more, so the booking process aligns with your brand identity. Guests can make reservations at the group level, object type level, or for individual accommodations.

The standard version of online booking uses an iFrame, which can be easily integrated into your website, keeping costs low. Additionally, you have the option to add your own stylesheet to further personalize the appearance. For a more tailored experience, there is also the possibility to create a fully custom-built website combined with the online booking system. This allows you to fully adapt the booking process to meet your specific needs and branding.

Furthermore, the online booking process on your website can be enhanced with the option to book based on preferences through an interactive map. Guests can easily select their preferred accommodation. Optional additional fees can be applied to these “preferred bookings” if desired.

Automatically send your prices and availability from CATbooking to leading tour operators, expanding your reach and increasing the number of bookings. There are several ways to automatically update your occupancy with tour operators.

One option is the iCal feature in CATbooking, which automatically synchronizes your calendar with the tour operators. Additionally, we offer a fully automated integration, where bookings made through the tour operator are directly processed in CATbooking.

Depending on your needs, you can choose between our own direct CATbooking integration with tour operators or use the Qenner channel manager. This flexibility ensures that your system stays up-to-date and your bookings are streamlined across multiple platforms.

CATbooking can be expanded with access control software, enabling the integration of various access control systems, such as barriers or turnstiles. This includes integrations with license plate recognition systems, barcode cards, or physical keys for access to park gates or parking garages. Turnstiles at swimming pools can also be easily integrated.

Additionally, CATbooking offers the option to integrate with electronic door locks, providing access to bungalows or apartments. Instead of traditional keys, guests receive a unique code or keycard shortly before arrival, granting access to the accommodation. This system allows your guests to independently access their rental accommodations 24/7 with an electronic door lock. The system supports contactless check-in and check-out, at a time that is convenient for the guest.

The electronic lock system operates with PIN codes, which can be easily configured. You can assign unlimited codes to users, and the keycode can be sent after full payment or a few days before arrival. You also have the option to create unique codes for each guest or staff member, with specific time slots for purposes such as cleaning services or maintenance staff.

For guests at camper parks, the Camper kiosk allows passersby to easily book their stay. They can sign in, choose an available spot, check-in, and pay contactless. After payment, they receive a PIN code granting access to the camper park, and the booking is automatically registered in CATbooking.

Bookings for the camper park are also processed via the website or at the reception. These bookings are recorded in CATbooking, and guests automatically receive an access code via email, allowing for a smooth and automated check-in process.

CATbooking can be easily integrated with the ICY Accommodation Management system. This linkage includes two important functions: billing based on actual consumption and providing a warm welcome to guests.

On the day of arrival, the thermostat in the accommodation is automatically set to a pre-heating mode starting from a certain time, ensuring that guests arrive to a comfortable and welcoming environment. On the day of departure, the thermostat is reset to the low setting to save energy once the accommodation is no longer in use.

After making a reservation, the guest can log in to their personalized “Guest Portal” using a PC, tablet, or smartphone. In this portal, they have access to important information such as:

• Their address details
• Information about the booked accommodation
• Reservation details
• Any additional services or extras booked
• Payment status
• The option to pay online

Regarding payment for the reservation, the guest can choose to settle the payment directly at the end of the booking process on the website. Additionally, online payment is also possible via “Guest Portal”. We support nearly all common payment methods, including iDeal, Bancontact, credit card, and PayPal.

In the Owner Module of CATbooking, property owners are registered as users with the role of “Owner”. This simplifies the management of their data and provides a user-friendly way to manage owner-related tasks. For each property owner, login access can be set up with different levels of permissions. These levels range from a “view-only” mode, where owners have access to limited information, to full rights that allow them to make reservations themselves.

In the Owners Module, you can record the commission agreements you have made with the homeowners. You can also book costs to be charged to the homeowner, which will be offset against rental income. After you approve the settlement, you can make it available in “My Homeowners Environment.”

This module ensures that guests automatically receive an email a few days before their arrival and after their departure.

• Arrival email: In this email you can inform the guest about the check-in procedure and any outstanding payments.
• Welcome Home email: In this email you can ask the guest to complete a survey or offer a discount code for their next stay.
• Payment invitation: With this automatic payment reminder, the guest receives an email a few days before or on the due date of the payment term.

The content of the emails can vary per type of accommodation, is personalized and can be sent in multiple languages. In addition, you can include a link to “Guest Portal”, so that the guest can easily pay online. It is also possible to add multiple PDF attachments to the emails.
